Operating Guidelines
These guidelines support a friendly, reliable regional network experience. Local repeater rules and FCC Part 97 always apply.
- Identify with your callsign in accordance with FCC rules.
- Listen first and ensure the system is clear before transmitting.
- Be respectful: no politics, profanity, harassment, or disruptive behavior.
- No commercial traffic or business advertising.
- Pause between transmissions to allow breaks and emergency traffic.
- Follow net control instructions during scheduled nets and events.
- Emergency traffic always has priority.
- Keep links stable: report audio loops, timeouts, or echo problems to admins.
